i'm Kayla

A mother daughter duo turned sustainable living and gluten free food bloggers. The two of us,
along with our furry and feathered friends, currently reside along the foothills of the Bighorn
Mountains - where buffalo clouds hang above the high desert plains and golden light meets
snow-capped peaks each morning. Above all, we have come to realize that, no matter where life
takes us, home will always be within one another.
Together we find beauty in balance. We seek comfort from Mother Nature while reveling in
everyday practices that support modern wellness and sustainability. When we are not working
or furthering our education, you can find us barefoot in our garden, exploring the backcountry or
soaking up old family recipes in our honey flavored kitchen.

 we are Kayla and Morgan

Hi folks,

My passions and hobbies range from fishing & hunting, to growing plants and baking. These are all things I grew up doing from a child and enjoy every day. I also love to read, paint ( watercolors only) and have recently taken up calligraphy. I have been obsessed as my penmanship is terrible but for some reason I can write beautifully with calligraphy.

MOTHER. PHOTOGRAPHER. OUTDOOR ENTHUSIAST.

Our Philosophy

Here at Honey Flavored Kitchen we are on a mission to provide modern women with the
knowledge and resources to slow down and take on everything in front of them wholeheartedly.
Because, we simply believe in goodness. And in order to do good by ourselves, we know that
we must be willing to do good by others. From intentional living and positive thinking to honest
baking and cooking, we realize the magnitude of even our smallest behaviors and how they can
have a greater impact on the world around us.
We are devoted to creating something bigger than ourselves. A lifestyle that can be celebrated
and passed down to not only our daughters, but for generations to come. For our greatest
power has always, always lied within us.
Your truest, wildest self lies ahead. Let us take you there.
